"I find myself indulged often enough in fantasy and historical nonfiction, even gravitating towards games that are rpgs in the same genres. A book like this has reeled me in again to reread and think about the direction of the story for the future, seeing how this is a series.
There are quite a few characters and personalities, but I personally felt attached to each and every one of them. Their struggles are constantly testing them. When I felt that I was able to take a breath of relief for the characters, something else happens right around the corner, having me sitting on the edge of my chair.
The book even tackles real world issues with its own direction and makes a great effort in portraying how the characters interact in terms of these problems in the land of Mistfall and far, far beyond."
